Having an opportunity to present a BON(Best of Nollywood) award to your son, would be every Nigerian mother’s dream, but Omoni Oboli can say she had a double dream come true on the awards night. The rising star presented the Best Child Actor’s Award to her son Tobe Oboli and she was awarded the ‘Sunlight Fresh and Clean’ Actress Award of the year. The mother of three broke down in tears of joy and over excitement saying ‘this is the best year of my life’(so far).
She made the audience aware of her husband’s tremendous believe in her and not making a big deal of her popularity (something most guys cannot handle, seriously) and motivating her to aim higher and higher.
Omoni played a marvellous role in the hit movie ‘Anchor Baby’ and was the female lead in mega hit move ‘The Figurine’. Her award came with US$10,000, an all-expense-paid week trip to Dubai and ermmmmmm….a washing machine, seriously! It isn’t a joke she was also given a washing machine.
