Motivational Message Of The Week: Life Is Shorter Than You Think So Live Today To The Fullest!

Even though we all know our life on earth is not timeless, we do not realize how short life is for us. Majority of us see life as far longer than it is in reality.

Since we think our existence is far longer than it really is, we are failing to live our lives to the fullest with countless procrastination at our feet.

All we have is today and instead of embracing today with everything we have, we seem to see more worthiness in tomorrow when we are not even sure of what tomorrow will bring to us.

An event last week pushed me into thinking about how short life is for us all. It knocked me to realize that fighting for a better tomorrow is quite useless in many ways. Why don’t we fight for a better today instead of tomorrow?

There are countless things we will want to do, see or achieve before our lives on earth come to an end. Most of these things are projected into tomorrow when we can kick start them today.

We seem to spend enough energy seeking to better tomorrow, and in doing so, forgetting to live today. Why are we wasting so much time on what we do not have and little or no time on what we already have? Why do we appreciate tomorrow so much than today-something we can boldly say we have?

Life is a beautiful journey but it is the non timeless nature of life which makes it what it is…Until we begin to see that life is far shorter than we think by beginning to live each day to the fullest, we will never see the hidden beauty and fulfilment that comes with life.

What is it that you want to do or want to be? Start being that thing now.  Do you want to be a good friend, a good daughter or son, a kind or helpful individual? Start being it today because the tomorrow you wish for may never come to you.

Anytime I think about the non timeless nature of life, I remember what Mark Twain once said. “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Even if tomorrow reaches you and you have chased the things that you want in life without achieving the results you really wanted, you will not be much disappointed. You will be more disappointed by those things that you did not do and left them for tomorrow…Continue Reading From Here

Motivational Message Of The Week: If You Don’t Build Your Dreams, Someone Will Hire You To Build His…

The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to kill his or her own dreams but spend his entire life helping others build theirs.

You may be wondering why any reasonable person will forgo his own dreams and rather help others build theirs.

The fact is, no matter how absurd the above sounds, many of us are doing this. We are trapped in doing things we do not believe in. We have been easily bought as slaves to help the highest bidder build his dreams to the detriment of the dreams we had years ago.

Take a minute and ask yourself these questions;

What are your dreams?

What are you doing towards achieving these dreams?

As human beings, we are persuaded towards comfort. Our dislike for discomfort and adversity always aid us into going for the nearest options, even if we do not believe in these options.

The very moment you started looking for opportunities in life was the moment you gave preference to someone’s dream. This was the moment you decided to become a builder of another person’s dream.

Why am I saying this? Opportunities do not create themselves. They are created by people around their dreams. The creators of these opportunities which are centred on their dreams make them available for builders like you to see. You then grab these available opportunities and pursuit them.

At this stage, what do you think you are doing? You are merely helping the creator build his mansion of dreams.

You may see it as a perfect opportunity to build your own dreams. The fact is, it has merely been designed to confuse you into thinking the road will lead to your dreamland. Why Every African Celebrity MUST Be Active On Social Media!

Recently, I caught up with Star Actress Jackie Appiah and among the many things we talked about, the issue of her not being on any of the prominent social media platforms kept repeating itself.

Despite the strong valid reasons she gave to me as to why she is not on Twitter or Facebook, I believe I was able to push her into seeing the need for her to get out there. After our discussion, she told me she will be coming on social media soon.

In fact, the reasons (such as impersonating) she mentioned as contributing to her absence on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook are problems we all face on there.

There are several great benefits of being on social media platforms, especially to celebrities. However, it seems some of our Ghanaian celebrities are not seeing these immense contribution social media can make to their careers.

Some of the benefits that can be derived by our celebrities from being active on social media platforms have been outlined below;

Social Media Serve As A Reliable & Easy Way To Interact With Or Address Fans

If you interact with celebrities a lot, then you will not be new to their complaints of media houses or reporters taking their words out of context.

Using conventional media to address issues is an entrenched practice but the bias nature of the media and their strong stands on issues as well as their individual affiliations sometime taint what they put out there.

Every now and then, celebrities reach out to media houses because that is the only way they think they can get a message across to their fans.

This is correct, but then will what you tell the media be carried out to your fans as you want it? Anytime there is a middle man in a discussion, the issue gets affected by the stand and view of the middle man, no matter how infinitesimal the effect would be.

It is therefore becoming an increasing practice for celebrities to use their social media platforms to address issues which they cannot trust the media with.

Apart from being able to address fans directly by social media platforms, you can quickly fetch their reactions and views. This cannot be easily collected when conventional media platforms like the print is used.

Closely related to the above, a direct interaction with fans helps in building strong relationship. How many of us will not smile if your favourite celebrity replies to your tweet or a conversation on facebook?

VIDEO: Breaking News: Prezzo & Goldie Fight Over Ring

There’s trouble in paradise as Goldie and Prezzo engage in a heated argument over Prezzo’s missing ring.

Insults and strong language became the order of the conversation when Prezzo insisted that he wanted his ring back from the Nigerian songstress.

With the ring missing, Goldie didn’t know where to look and Prezzo rummaged through her packed stuff. “You have no right to go through my things,” Goldie warned the Kenyan rapper.

“I’m not joking Goldie. Forget the money, it’s about the value,” Prezzo said as he related that the ring had been given to him by his mother.

Has the ring come between the two love birds or will they make up before tonight’s Eviction Show lest one of them leaves StarGame for good?
